Art Kits:
Supplied to you: (date TBA)
***Links may be provided to items sold on Amazon. but students can purchase art supplies at any store and they don't have to be the same brand name. The ones listed are just to show as an example. You may be able to find items cheaper at Target, Walmart, or Michaels Arts & Craft Stores.***
- Each student will be required to have their own Art Kit for the 2020-2021 school year due to the Corona Virus and outbreak concerns when it comes to using shared materials.
- It is the student's responsibility to have their art supplies every day for class whether they are attending at home through MyPCS or attending Brick & Mortar.
- For Brick & Mortar Students: There will be storage lockers for students to keep supplies in class but Mrs. Gates cannot guarantee that they will be safe or untouched by other classes if you leave them sitting out. It is my STRONG SUGGESTION you keep your materials locked up or with you.
- Not all materials will be needed every day - Mrs. Gates will tell you when to bring in certain items.
- Some materials will be provided to you and others will need to be purchased as part of your Art Lab Fee
- Normally students would have to pay a Lab Fee for studio art classes but this year that money will be used to buy your own supplies.
- ****LAB FEES WILL NOT BE COLLECTED THIS YEAR!*** All students should use that money to purchase supplies based off of the lists below.
- Students may decide to purchase all of their own supplies (even the ones that are provided to you) and that's ok. You do not have to use or accept the supplies given to you.
- Mrs. Gates may provide larger materials or harder to find materials for certain projects.
- Any MyPCS student may have to schedule a time to pick up these materials from the main office in order to complete class projects. All other students will receive these in class.
