Create 10 Portraits in different styles. This does not mean you will only take 10 photos but you will need to submit 10 final, edited, good portraits. Try using some of the tricks of the trade for taking good shots as mentioned in this video:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZVyNjKSr0M&app=desktop Some suggestions for variety may include: Chiaroscuro (black and white with extreme dark background and bright highlights on your subjects face), closely cropped portraits, cameo shot showing a personality or hobby, using various objects to frame your subject into the composition such as a window or a doorway, find a background that has leading lines or diagonals that can bring emphasis to your subject, highlighting the true personality of your subject, etc. You can take photos of people or animals, but remember to always have a subject that is in focus and make sure your background isn't distracting. A background should compliment your subject or be faded out or darkened. You can fix small issues in photoshop if need be or alter the images lighting or blur out the background. Choose a model, take a picture of them, and then turn them into a cartoon character. Exaggerate certain features: eyes, nose, mouth, chin, neck, hands, hair, etc. Some features you may want to size up and some you will size down. But try to capture the personality, features and colors of your model.
